"Baby boomers" are an odd lot. Perhaps it's because that generation grew up watching television shows like "Laugh-In" and listening to such bizarre musical performers, like the one featured in this clip.
I defy you to find any of today's musical celebrities who surpass the late Tiny Tim, in terms of all-out weirdness.
Now, maybe you'll understand why your mom and dad are such "strange" old buggers! Being exposed to stuff like this in your formative years can affect you psychologically.

Another Governor, Another Scandal!
|
What do they serve at the Governor's mansion in Albany- Viagra cocktails? Fresh from being sworn in to replace disgraced former New York First Exec Eliot Spitzer, David Paterson had a few skeletons in his own closet rattling around, too, which he revealed at a press conference only days ago. Seems the handsome, legally blind 53-year-old had a number of affairs outside of his marriage. Reportedly, wife Michelle, 46, also broke their marriage vows.

Bush will do with his spare time after leaving 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, you might be comforted to know that rumors are that he will be appearing on his own new reality show, "Dancing With the Tribesmen," in which he will weekly shake his moneymaker in exotic spots around the globe, competing against other former world leaders to see which of them lasts 'til the big finale, when the coveted "Golden Bubba Trophy" will be awarded to the lucky winner. Watch this example of G.W.'s fancy foot work and tell me if you think he's got skills!

Forget those pretentious, "snooty" nuptials! Redneck weddings are "in" and some couples are foregoing expensive trappings in favor of exchanging their vows in a "Hee Haw"-type environment. So, raise a can of Bud to toast this joyous country-bred couple! They'll probably still be a blissful pair when the "fancy weddin'" people are on their 4th divorce.
