Not even the President of the United States is immune to having embarrassing relatives\, as recent headlines proved.
President Barack Obama's half- brother, who lives in Kenya, got in the headlines a few days back when he was arrested for marijuana possession by the Nairobi cops. He was also charged and put in the clinker for his attempt to resist arrest.
George Obama, of course, has denied doing anything wrong and some allege that the police zoomed in on him, only because he is related to Barack Obama, whom he hardly even knows and has only personally met face-to-face on one occasion.
Still, it must have made the new Prez gristle with embarrassment to see his half-sibling's name in the news for partaking in the illegal pleasures of smoking weed.
This isn't the first time,however, that an American president's brother has gotten some unwanted media attention. There was Billy Carter, brother of Jimmy Carter, who gained notoriety for his redneck, beer chuggin' ways and mind-boggling acts, such as urinating on an Air Force runway. Then there was Roger Clinton, brother of Bill, who got into various legal infractions during his sibling's Presidency.
So, even world leaders have nuts in the family!
