Unfortunately, as the economy goes down, crime often go up. Criminals are even bolder than usual nowadays, as they attempt to enrich themselves at the expense of the innocent. Despite this, you'd hope that even law-breaking scum had a small bit of humanity left in their souls.
Apparently, one South Florida carjacker did not.
While a 29-year-old mother of four sat outside in her car with her kids, waiting for her husband to return from picking up some items in a local drugstore, a 37-year-old carjacker attempted to force his way into the Mitsubishi van to steal it, to the horror of the vehicle's inhabitants.
The brave mom did her best to fight the evil thief off, but the villainous crook persisted in his despicable endeavor. What makes this story even worse to stomach is that he punched her in the face and also punched her 18-month old baby in the face. The courageous mother's struggle finally won out and the frustrated ran off, since her cries were drawing some attention.
I'm glad to say that this piece of walking garbage was caught and arrested for attempted kidnapping and attempted carjacking.
Hope the judge doesn't let this creep get off!
