We all understand the tremendous pressure a lot of schoolteachers are under. Long hours, lousy pay and bad publicity for the profession is enough to frustrate anybody. However, there are some folks within their ranks who really are not helping to improve their image, such as one really over-the-top Pennsylvania teacher who recently got into some big trouble.
An elementary school teacher who formerly taught in Bucks County may be looking at 73 years in the "Big House."
She seems to have either been way too stressed out or just plain nutty. According to reports, the Longstreth Elementary School 4th-grade instructor tried to get rid of a little angst by leaving a number of threatening notes throughout the premises.
Of course this didn't sit too well with the principal and parents, once the teacher's actions were discovered. She was found guilty by a jury of planting these horrific threatening notes, despite her protests that she is innocent.
Here's what I'm wondering. When are the school systems around the country finally going to begin administering psychological tests to the people who are supposed to be responsible for allegedly "molding the lives" of our kids?
Perhaps, this explains why some people choose to do homeschooling!
